Notification for consumers and impersonators of competitors
Dear Valued Customers,
We are a newly established business in the Allston/Brighton region, with other ventures across the Boston area, and we have over a decade of experience in MIT dining. We are delighted to serve the community here now.
We have seen several defamatory reviews on Google for no justifiable reason. We are now collaborating with Google support staff and legal professionals to uncover the fraudulent reviews, particularly those related to our alleged AI art. For clarification, art is subjective; if you do not like our art, we will not force you to. However, it is unacceptable to use this as a basis to disparage us, particularly in the context of a food café. We have disseminated line drawings of the artist in the café, which those with time to evaluate have declined to examine, and now our site will display the artist’s live drawing. These are cartoons, which denote intentional representations that depict an individual simply or exaggeratedly.
Fake engagement and impersonation (Google Support Clarification)
Please take these rules seriously. If a Google Maps user’s on- or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, employees or ecosystem, we may take actions that will range from suspending the account privileges to account termination. When reviewing content or accounts, we take various types of information into consideration, including the content itself, account information, user actions and whether a pattern of harmful behavior exists, and other information provided through reporting mechanisms (where applicable) and own-initiative reviews.
We value your patronage, but we will pursue stringent legal measures against impersonators following this.
